The location of the quest giver, Lady Adora, in Baldur's Gate Palace District.

Details[]

Location: Baldur's Gate Palace District

Quest giver: Lady Adora

This quest is a simple errand of running around in Baldur's Gate. It involves no fighting at all.

Dialogue[]

Lady Adora: Oh heavens, not again!

You: Is there something wrong?

Lady Adora: *Sarcastically* Is there something wrong?! Of course there is something wrong! Once again, the filth that plagues this city has ruined my day. They stole from me!

1. You probably deserved it. Keep a better eye on your loot, lady.

2. What do you mean, filth? Maybe I can help you?

You: What do you mean, filth? Maybe I can help you?

Lady Adora: I meant that some ratty boy who doesn’t know how to keep his grimy little fingers to himself made off with my belongings. That’s what I mean.

You: What did he take?

Lady Adora: Only my most precious bracelet. *She says with an exhausted sigh.*

You: Did you see what way he went?

Lady Adora: I believe the rat went that way. *She takes an ornate fan from her sash and begins fanning herself.* Yes, South, towards the docks.

You: Well, would you like me to retrieve it for you?

Lady Adora: *Sounding rather unimpressed as she rolls her eyes.* Of course I would like for you to retrieve it for me. You look expandeble enough. How does two hundred gold sound?

1. Expendable? How does 'no' sound? Go find your own bracelet.

2. Two hundred gold sounds fair. Consider it done.

You: Two hundred gold sounds fair. Consider it done.

Lady Adora: Very good, then. Come find me, Lady Adora, *She says with a flourish* when you have my bracelet. Chop-chop, the day is wasting. Go and fetch my bracelet now.

You: [Continue.]

Lady Adora: Have you returned with my bracelet, peasant?

You: Not yet, sorry. Which way did you say he went again?

Lady Adora: *Rolling her eyes with a huff* South... near the docks... as I said before. Did I say it slow enough for you that time? Hurry up then, I haven’t got all day, you know.

You: [Continue]

A Lady's Loss Map 2

The location of the street boy Jeremy, in Baldur's Gate Harbor

Jeremy: *Looking up to you with fear in his eyes* Y-yes?

1. Have you been helping yourself to other people’s property, hmm?

2. Nevermind, I thought you were someone else.

You: Have you been helping yourself to other people’s property, hmm?

Jeremy: *Obviously scared* No- I mean, well ... maybe. Please don’t hurt me

1. Come on, lad. I will buy it back from you for ten gold. You can use that coin to go buy yourself some food. How does that sound?

2. Let’s pretend I never saw you, hm? Go and see what you can sell that bracelet for, and next time don’t get caught!

3. Give it to me now or you will regret it boy! Now!

You: Come on, lad. I will buy it back from you for ten gold. You can use that coin to go buy yourself some food. How does that sound?

Jeremy: *With a noticeable tear in his eye* Good missus. Thank you.

You: *Give the boy ten gold in exchange for the bracelet* Stay out of trouble, now.

Journal Entry: I've found the street kid who had stolen from Lady Adora and aquired the bracelet. I should head back to the Palace District in Baldur's Gate and return it to her.

Lady Adora: Its about time. You should not keep a lady of my stature waiting. *Takes a handful of coins from her purse and hands it to you.* A deal is a deal. Here is your coin, madam. As we agreed.

1. Thank you, Lady Adora. Have a good day.

2. I require no reward for doing the right thing. Please give it to someone in need.

3. *Snatch the gold from her hand* Maybe next time you won't be such a toad when somebody tries to help you, hunh?

You: I require no reward for doing the right thing. Please give it to someone in need.

Lady Adora: *Still a bit stuffy, but surprised by your response.* Finally I meet someone with a noble demeanor. Good day then.
